The materials we use in our interior designs are factory-made. They can be designed and set up in multiple ways to suit the different requirements of our clients and their homes. Materials Used In Interior Design By YS Interiors:

• MDF: Medium Density Fibreboard is built with a single board which is produced by binding together multiple wood fibres.
• Commercial Plywood: This material is a popular choice for designing modular kitchens. Its surface is laminated and polished after being processed.
• BWP: Boiling Waterproof is a water-resistant modular structure perfect for the kitchen's wet areas.
• HDMR: High-Density High Moisture-Resistant board is durable and used for kitchen shutters. It is made by combining fibre chips and forest wood waste.
• HDF: High-Density Fiberboard is used in areas where a strong and rigid material is required. It is often used for making bedroom furniture like Murphy beds, mirror pull-outs and wardrobes with in-built TV units.
• Metal: Mostly used in bedrooms for specific industrial, rustic or contemporary designs. We produce rods, railings, claddings, pipes and support structures using metal.
• Particle Boards: These are lightweight and used as an alternative to plywood. Particle boards are relatively inexpensive and used for making wall partitions, false ceilings, shelves, study desks and cabinets.

Some Commonly Used Finishes In Kitchens:

• Veneer: Typically used for cabinets, doors and tops, this finish is made of real wood. It is commonly used in modular kitchen for a natural look and feel.
• Laminates: Commonly known as sun mica in India, laminates are one of the most durable home interior finishes. This finish is made using plastic and is considered a colourful substitute for natural wood and veneers.
• Lacquer: Slightly high-end and expensive, lacquered glass is highly stain-resistant and easy to maintain. It's made from high-quality glass and does not lose its lustre over time.
• Acrylic: An affordable alternative to lacquer, acrylics offer the same high glass look as lacquered glass and are durable. However, they are prone to scratches.
